Watch Rice Architecture Paris Adjunct Professor Jim Njoo’s recent interview “On Cedric Price Part I” (and part II) featured on the website OnArchitecture. Njoo first became interested in this influential English architect and writer almost ten years ago and has since delved into Price’s archives, teachings, and writings. Njoo discusses the diverse readings of Price and his work as a way to understand more fully the architect’s legacy. Price was invited, along with architects including Robert Venturi, to Rice University for a design fete in 1967 called “New Schools for New Towns” that considered the intersection between education, design, and technology.
