Architecture as we know it now is far from the series of manifestos and avant-gardes that characterized the modern movement. Yet, ideas are being put forward, positions are being taken. Significant work is happening though it may not be highly visible. This event looks at cases in which publishing and curatorial practices have served to create and sustain discourse around architecture by interpreting what has already happened. How has this been done in contexts such as the school or the city? What kinds of platforms are serving to amplify ideas that emerge in schools and practices and making them available to other audiences?
